Growing marijuana in Ohio is punishable. Patients and caregivers are not authorized to grow or cultivate marijuana.

Do I have to buy my marijuana from one of the dispensaries?
Yes. Be protected! For your safety and under the Medical Marijuana program in Ohio, your marijuana must be labeled from one of the authorized dispensaries. This ensures your marijuana is not laced with additives from unknown sources.

I’m a patient and haven’t been to a medical dispensary before. What can I expect?
Don’t stress yourself out! Visiting the dispensary for the first time should be an enjoyable experience. Your budtender will be ready to help you find exactly what you need. Even so, before your visit, there are a few things you can do to prepare so that things can go as smoothly as possible.

What do I need to bring with me when I visit a Bear River Dispensary?
Before visiting the dispensary, prepare your medical marijuana card and state Identification ID. Only patients with an active registry card, an active recommendation, and their associated government-issued ID can purchase medical marijuana.

I am caregiver and my registry card is now on process. Can I visit the dispensary to purchase marijuana products for my patient?
No. You may only purchase medical marijuana from an Ohio dispensary after receiving your Patient & Caregiver Registry card.
